 <p>We’re hosting an event to celebrate the paperback release of State by State\, a wonderful collection of essays from acclaimed writers\, about the states they love.  We’re running a contest in the same spirit – called <b>Neighborhood by Neighborhood</b>. Write an essay about your favorite part of NYC\: from Washington Heights to Vinegar Hill to\, of course – Greenpoint. <b>Send submissions to <a href=\\"mailto\:kelly@wordbrooklyn.com\\">kelly@wordbrooklyn.com</a> by November 12th to be entered.</b> Winner gets an autographed copy of the book\, a gift certificate to WORD and a chance to read their piece at the event.
