The Gym Park and Word team up each Monday morning for a combination Storytime and Playtime Session. A member of the WORD staff will read one or two stories for children to enjoy. Be sure to arrive on time as the story will begin by 10:35am. More info on the dropin storytime/playtime session can be found here.

To aid in the development of new work, local writers gather to present
excerpts from works-in-progress for healthy feedback and discussion.
Open to writers
of all genres (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, children's lit, plays,
screenplays etc) in any stage of development. $5 donations requested
for donation to local charities.
