16 WORD running group Start: 10:00 am End: 10:30 am Join a group of book-loving runners on a laidback tour of Greenpoint on foot. Every week is a slightly different run, but it'll always be 2-3 miles at about a 10-minute mile pace. Come when you can; no pre-registration required and no fee. Any questions? Start: 1:00 pm End: 3:00 pm An afternoon of readings, improvisational drawing and activities, featuring: Frank Cammuso (Knights of the Lunch Table), Chris Giarusso (G-Man: Learning to Fly), Jarrett Krosoczka (Lunch Lady and the Summer Camp Shakedown) Matt Phelan (The Storm in the Barn) and Eric Wight (Frankie Pickle and the Closet of Doom). This will be a super fun, FREE, interactive and engaging event for kids ages 4 and up. Facebook RSVP encouraged but not required.
