It's time for our next matchmaking mixer at The Diamond Bar and this go round we will crown a king and queen of the prom! Mark your calendar for another chance to find literary love. Taffeta and ruffles not required but certainly welcome :) Facebook RSVP encouraged.
There will be drink specials, all your favorite prom tunes from DJ RUSS COMM, a "worst prom stories" contest plus two authors will join us for the festivities: Erin Bradley, author of EVERY ROSE HAS ITS THORN and Virginia Vitzthum, author of MY BLIND DATE WENT BLIND: AND OTHER TRUE STORIES OF DATES GONE WRONG

enter the contest, send your Worst Prom Story to info@wordbrooklyn.com
by June 15th. (Subject line: PROM STORY) Our guest authors and WORD
staff will pick a winner and announce the winner at the event.

email your prom song requests (artist and song title only - NO mp3s) to
russ@russcomm.net And finally, and most importantly....if you haven't
already added your personal ad to our Between the Covers matchmaking
